Fall weddings are a fav of mine.

and this one was no exception. Matt and Chesni chose a newer venue in Pennsylvania called the Heritage by the Hayloft. On my drive there the wind about blew me off the road which made be a bit nervous but the wind just ended up being glorious, adding so much drama to the photos (Let this be your sign that weather doesn't have to be a bummer. It might just be that missing dimension to a masterful art piece). The old farmhouse on the property added charm and a perfect backdrop for the girls getting ready. During the ceremony the sun peaked through the trees, illuminating all of falls colors which was just STUNNING! Have a mentioned fall is my favorite?! It was perfection! This wedding was filled with such unique ideas: Making a candle for their unity ceremony with the help of Katie with Tried by Fire candle making, Chesni's uncle's old car, an old phone where guests can leave messages as their guestbook(after the tone), and a desert bar filled with homemade cookies that were some of the best i've ever eaten. The night ended with portraits as the sun set, dancing into the night (including Chesni's grandfather who could get down with the best of them), and sparklers to send the newlyweds off. Just another picture perfect fall wedding in the books. Enjoy this peak into the Mckenzie's special day!
